HyTemp® Polyacrylate
COMPOUNDING & PROCESSING
Nearly all rubber compounds require the gum polymer be formulated, or combined, with other ingredients. In the rubber industry this is commonly called "compounding."
A typical polyacrylate is composed of ACM polymer, carbon black and/or mineral filler(s), plasticizer, antioxidant, processing aids, and curatives.
Polyacrylates can be processed in all standard rubber-type equipment. |

The tackiness of polyacrylates, coupled with good heat and oil resistance, makes HyTemp® ACM ideally suited for adhesive, caulk, and sealant applications.

ACM elastomers provide enhanced, long-term performance for the most demanding heat- and oil-resistant gasket and seal applications.
|
|
HyTemp® ACM elastomers are ideal binders for flexible magnets used in close proximity to electric motors where heat and ozone buildup will attack unsaturated binders.
|
|
HyTemp® ACM elastomers perform extremely well in the hot and oil-laden environments anticipated in such applications as TDi/CAC hose, TOC hose, power steering hose, and many others.
