Zeotherm TPVs deliver "rubber tearing" adhesion to a broad range of nylons, without the difficult and expensive pretreatment most TPEs require. Using Zeotherm makes it possible to select the nylon grade that provides your preferred cost and performance, without worrying about TPE bonding. Zeotherm is the right choice for bonding to nylons such as PA6 and 6,6 to the more exotic PA11s, 12s and 4,6, whether filled, unfilled or modified. With Zeotherm, adhesion is maintained even after exposure to hot fluids and heat to 175°C, where conventional TPEs are prone to delaminating and loss of overmold adhesion. Zeotherm TPVs can even be welded to nylon using hot plate or spin welding processes.
- Allows superior overmold adhesion to a wide range of nylons (polyamides), including PA6; 6,6; 11; 12; 4,6; filled and unfilled
- Provides cohesive "rubber tearing" adhesion without special pretreatment
- Creates adhesion that survives heat exposure to 175°C
- Offers compatibility to 2k, insert molding, welding (hot plate, spin) and co-ex processes
